SAVE OUR CHURCH BULLETIN - October 19, 2003
Dear SOC Supporters,
I wish to first of all express my deep appreciation for all of you who became a visible witness in our Prayer Protest against FutureChurch and their errors October 2nd at the Avalon in North Royalton. There were 31 of us on this Feast Day of the Guardian Angels, who prayed for the strengthening of the beleaguered guardian angels of some 600 attendees at this FutureChurch fundraiser. Victories were certainly won in hearts, because we obeyed heaven out of love for the Church, our Lord, and so many misled souls. God bless you all and all of you who could not be with us who made other sacrifices for the cause. Since The Avalon did not want us on their property, we moved to the entrance on Wallings Road and prayed there. The location was ideal, for, in addition to the attendees, most of whom entered from this direction, every car passing on the very busy Wallings Road saw our group with our bright blue shoulder sashes and our signs. Our time together was a wonderful, though I must apologize for getting there late and then having to leave in a rush! God Bless you all and for those who helped Nadia post some 30 "Jesus is Lord" signs from the Interstate all the way down to the Avalon on Wallings Road!
The 600 attendees who paid from $40 to $70 each, is double the number from last years fundraiser. Further, our "plants" testified that this meeting with Joan Chittister was far more blatantly anti-Catholic and anti-Christian than last year's meeting. The message coming out of the Diocese, however, is that FutureChurch represents a small group of old gray haired ladies whose views are dying out with their passing. That is the same head-in-the-sand attitude that seems to have been typical of our Church's leadership in this Diocese for decades. We will report more specifically when the written reports on the meetings come in.
I wish also to thank the Holy Name Society of an unnamed parish for inviting me to speak to their group of 60 to 70 last Tuesday. There was great interest in our work and a lot of literature was picked up for distribution. God Bless this parish and the devoted men in that great parish who love the Lord and His Church!
